IT Project Coordinator
About the Role
First Cambodia is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Technical & PMO team. The successful candidate will support software and system implementation projects, including Core Banking System coordination, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with exceptional quality.
You’ll play an important role in helping clients achieve digital transformation success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the Project Manager and technical teams.
- Manage on the software or system implementation projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and progress tracking reports.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and budgets to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare and manage invoicing schedules, payment requests, and project documentation.
- Act as a central communication point between customers, vendors, and internal technical teams, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
- Identify and report project risks, issues, and dependencies, and propose mitigation actions.
- Prepare status reports and present project updates, challenges, and recommendations to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure customer sign-off for completed deliverables.
- Support knowledge transfer, project closure, and post-implementation review activities.
- Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in software or system implementation projects—preferably within banking, financial, or enterprise system environments.
- Experience or strong understanding of Core Banking System coordination is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, CAPM or PMP…) and tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project, Jira, Trello).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with customers and technical teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.

Working Days and Hours
- Monday to Half-Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Lunch Break: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
